My First Time at Cafe Breton, Trinoma

Another late post. My friend, Frank, treated me and my boyfriend for desserts. He took us to Cafe Breton. This was my 1st time to dine at Cafe Breton, Trinoma. I am clueless on what to order, so I asked them if they have any recommendations. After browsing their menu and as suggested by my boyfriend, I ordered the Cafe Au Lait Decaf and the Flaming Chocolate Crepe. Frank ordered the Mango Crepe with Mango Ice cream.

Cafe Au Lait. My coffee and it has a cute presentation. The coffee is good and perfect for my ordered crepe.

The Flaming Crepe. Sorry I forgot the name. This was my first time to see a flaming crepe, I was so amazed. I like it.. so yummy but pricey.

The Mango crepe with Mango Icecream. I was able to taste it and this is also delicious.

I will definitely visit this cafe again and will try their other crepes and coffees. I heard they have a branch at Tagaytay.. hmmm.. hope I can visit that branch soon.

Dinner at UCC Cafe, Mall of Asia

This is another late post, I just saw these pics while browsing my files and I forgot to blog about it. So lets go to my food trip experience.

I was at Mall of Asia with my boyfriend. It was dinner time and we haven't decided where to eat. My boyfriend suggested to eat at UCC, because he wanted to try UCC's curry rice.  We went to the cafe and I ordered their Clubhouse Sandwich and Beef Hayashi & Curry Rice for my boyfriend. The place has a cozy ambiance.

The Clubhouse Sandwich. It's a Triple-Decker Japanese bread with bacon, cheese, egg, ham,  and grilled chicken. The taste is good but nothing fancy. The sandwich can be shared by 2 persons.

The Beef Hayashi and  Curry Rice. This is a Hamburg patty in hayashi sauce and Japanese curry divided by steamed white rice in the center. Unfortunately, my boyfriend didn't like it.. the beef was not juicy and the curry sauce tasted differently. He didn't even finished his food instead he ate the other half of my sandwich.

This is another unhappy food trip experience for me and for my boyfriend. The next time I will dine at UCC Cafe, I will just order coffee and crepes.

Sisig Hooray! @ Market Market

Once upon a lunch time, one of my teammates suggested to have a lunchout. Me, Dandan, Macon and Joonroe went to Market Market. We couldn't decide where to eat, Joonroe said he wanted to eat sisig at Sisig Hooray. Since I've never tried it, I voted for Joonroe's suggestion. This was my first time to eat at Sisig Hooray!. Sisig Hooray is just a small stall located at outside Market Market's main building. It is near the parking area.

The Pork Sisig. It's only Php55, affordable in my opinion. The sisig is crunchy and spicy.  The taste  is much better than Giligan's Pork Sisig. Yummy! I will definitely come back to try their other sisig options.

The Coffe Bean and Tea Leaf: Macchiato Coffee with 1 Shot Espresso

This is my first time to try CBTL's Macchiato coffee with 1 shot Espresso. I like it and the sweetness is perfectly fine plus it is cheaper (Php 95) than Starbuck's Caramel Macchiato and Creme Brulee Macchiato. It was a great coffee experience, I was awake the whole night because my coffee has a 1 shot Espresso.

Dinner at Recipes by Cafe Metro @ Greenbelt 3

It was a post birthday celebration with my friend MJ. I decided to eat dinner at Recipes because I want to try their Korean BBQ Short Ribs. We arrived before 9pm and we have to wait for our turn. Outside the resto, we checked the menu and I changed my mind about my order, I wanted to try the Lechon Kawali with Kangkong and Tofu Steak. Unfortunately, the Lechon Kawali with Kangkong is not available so I ordered the General's Chicken again.

The General's Chicken. My favorite! I highly recommend you try this.. delicioso! Deep fried chicken chunks and eggplant  coated with  sweet and spicy sauce.

The Tofu Steak. It's my 1st time to try this and I Iike it. Four soft beancurds with mushrooms slices and some veggie leaves.. ahahaha! Sorry, I don't know the name. The sauce, a mix taste of sweet, sour and salty.

Overall, MJ liked the two dishes.. glad he did! I will definitely come back and try their Lechon Kawali with Kangkong, Korean BBQ short ribs, and their deep fried Tilapia. Hope the servings get bigger the next time I visit.

Thanks MJ for the gift.. I like it! ^_^

Treat Me Like A Customer by Louis Upkins Jr.

I bought another book..  Treat Me Like A Customer. The title captured my attention. The main reason why I bought this is to gain knowledge  on how to handle clients because during that time I felt so inefficient on handling mails and clients.  I really thought this book is all about how to handle clients but it's not.  This book discusses how you can balance work and family. In my opinion, this is worth reading for.
